The way to give a bad presentation

Class. More class. Went to my investment club’s tech stock presentation today, and it was pretty bad. First of all, the stock wasn’t even that good – I had looked at the company a few days ago and I didn’t see it as having some particular promise. Second, the presenters were simply awful. One of them went up, and said, “I don’t have anything new to say so I’ll just read straight off the presentation.” And he proceeded to read roughly half a page of text. I swear, do these people not realize that they are being boring?

Very cool interview tomorrow. I hope I’ll do well. I’m also thinking about applying to my school’s magazine as sort of a “blogger,” but I feel bad because one of the requirements is to be an aspiring journalist, which I am definitely not.
