At work
I’m writing this blog update at work because right now I’m waiting on multiple people to finish whatever they’re doing and either a) give me instructions or b) give me data that I don’t have access to. So, what’s going on in my life? Working 9 to 5 gives me surprisingly little free time. This is what I did yesterday:
7:30-8:15: Woke up, showered, ate breakfast
8:15-9:00: Commuted to work
9:00-1:00: Work
1:00-2:00: Lunch
2:00-5:00 Work
5:00-5:45: Commuted home
5:45-6:30: Various errands
6:30-8:00: Went to the gym
8:00-9:15: Dinner
9:15-12:00: Played poker, chatted with people, watched some Scrubs
All in all, I basically have 3 hours of free time a day, which passes by pretty fast. Going to the gym every weekday does take up a lot of time but it makes me feel great (and healthy). Also, I might be running a 5k race in a week or two – that would be really exciting. Right now, I can run it in 30 minutes – hopefully I’ll be able to get that down to 27 within the next week.
